5 Fun Reasons To Visit The Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch
ZEBRAS WILL STICK THEIR HEADS IN YOUR CAR
Out of 500 hundred animals to potentially interact with, the zebra’s were by far our favorite! I always thought you had to travel to distant places to obtain such a unique experience as this. I was wrong! They were so calm and they really put on a show. They came up to our car, stuck their heads in, nibbled on our mirrors, showed their pearly whites and really got up close with us. It was the coolest thing ever and the kids were in total awe. They were hungry too so save some feed!
YOU CAN FEED ALL THE ANIMALS YOU WANT
The safari drive-thru is divided into four pastures. The Tatonka Range, Tower Creek, Kenyan Preserve and the Massai Savanna. With over six miles of land to cover, you have a ton of animals you can feed so be sure to buy extra feed. The great thing is that you can feed as many animals as you like! There is no where else I have been to in Texas where you can feed animals in their natural habitat at your leisure. So take advantage of this unique experience! Caution: Do not feed the animals from your hand. Throw the feed on the ground.
GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH GOATS
They have a barnyard where you can go in and get up close and personal with goats. I highly recommend this experience! You can brush them and feed them. My family really enjoyed this experience. The goats were fun to interact with! The best part is that there is a nice amount of them in the barnyard so you don’t have to fight over the goats with other visitors. Don’t worry, there is a hand washing station as soon as you exit…
DELICIOUS EATS AND TREATS
There are two eateries available to purchase eats and treats. The Safari Camp Grill and the Safari Sweet Spot. You can stop and satisfy your appetite or sweet tooth at any point during your visit. Everything from burgers and salads to ice cream and homemade fudge awaits you. The safari theme is carried indoors for a fun dining experience!
YOU CAN TAKE A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE
You can take a walk on the wild side before or after you drive through the safari. The walk-a-bout allows you to stretch your legs and walk about the grounds to interact with more animals. There is the giraffe barn. Here, you can get fairly close to giraffes and witness them in their own environment. They’ll poke their heads out to you and it makes for great photo opportunities. However, the Gibbons stole the show with their acrobatic tricks! Watch closely or you’ll miss it because they are fast but fun to watch. There are also other animals you can observe too so take a stroll and enjoy!
