5 Reasons To Visit Myriad Botanical Gardens
Crystal Bridge Conservatory
As the centerpiece of Myriad Botanical Gardens, this 15-acre indoor greenhouse is absolutely beautiful. Get prepared to be wowed! It’s 13,000 square feet, is home to 750 varieties of plants, a cascading waterfall and a sky bridge to experience stunning views atop the tropical forest.
For a small fee, this mesmerizing conservatory can be your reality. The spectacular array of flowers and plants on display will overwhelm you and it will leave your kids longing to be a Botanist!
Children’s Garden & Playground
There is a ton of things to do here for children. From chef classes to family workshops your kids are bound to fall in love with Myriad Botanical Gardens children’s programs. If that’s not enough, they have the opportunity to run free at the playground and on warmer days run through the splash fountains to cool off.
The children’s garden is another bonus and a great way to educate your children on horticulture.
To Exercise
Looking for a nice workout with beautiful scenery? They have great walking and jogging paths!
It’s a perfect place to get in some steps while viewing the plush grounds, taking a stroll around the pond, chasing your kids at the children’s playground, walking up and down the steps before heading to the Crystal Bridge Conservatory or kicking into high gear for a jog around the grounds.
Dog Park
Bring your family to Myriad Botanical Gardens for a day of fun! Yes, this includes your dog too! They offer an off-leash dog park experience located right on the east side of Reno Avenue. Your dog will have a blast running free among other furry friends. It’s even the perfect place for a doggy playdate.
You can learn more about the dog park HERE.
Awesome Special Events
There is always something going on at Myriad Botanical Gardens. From yoga, to wreath making classes to family workshops there is something for everyone with any interest.
We attended Pumpkinville this past weekend and the great thing is that you still have time to go check it out for your self. It was a ton of fun for my family so hurry before it ends on October 21, 2018! I suggest checking their calendar before planning your visit because you’re sure to find a unique lineup waiting for you.
With so much going on it’s the perfect place to spend the day. Bring the whole family out for a day of fun!
