Address: 12925 North Eldridge Parkway, Cypress, TX 77429
Cypress Park is one of my new favorite parks. It’s 165 acres is quiet, clean and oh so tranquil!
It is located in a very nice neighborhood with beautiful homes. The location of the park felt safe is free from distractions and the hustle and bustle of city life. There is one playground that is good for kids ages 5-12 years of age. There is one set of swings that consist of adult swings, baby swings and even a parent and child swing. Also, there is one stand alone tire swing that proves to be a ton of fun!
With plenty of picnic benches and two covered pavilions it’s the perfect place to pack a lunch and have some fun with the kids. There are water fountains if needed and restrooms. There is plenty of room for the kids to run about and be free.
If you are into exercising at the park then you are in for a real treat. They have a huge walking trail that is surrounded by two natural lakes. The lakes are divided by a small bridge where you can catch a good look at the array of cute turtles and other picturesque wildlife. The large loop is 1.39 miles and the small loop is .69 miles. They also have a great variety of exercise equipment at your disposal throughout the trail. The trail is smooth and perfect for rollerblading or bike riding.
If you are into fishing, rejoice! It is allowed, within certain regulations. There is also plenty of parking!
