Hello 2018!
Somewhere between all the Happy New Year post and the joy of having a fresh start, I realized that I never officially introduced myself to you. I started blogging consistently six months ago, gained many new followers but to be honest I have been pretty bad about connecting with you.
As a result, I plan to do a better job this year of engaging with you guys! So, let me start off the new year right by officially introducing myself to you!!!

1.) I think that I have the coolest birthday ever! It’s July 3rd and the best part is that I never have to work the day after! Thank you Fourth of July:)
2.) I am the youngest of 3 children. I have one brother and one sister. I think I was the oops child! That’s my story and I’m sticking too it!
3.) I will be 36-years-old this year but I still get carded! I take it as a compliment every single time.
4.) I LOVE POTATOES!! I can like eat french fries for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, CHIPS too!
5.) I almost died giving birth twice! God is so good! I plan to share the details of this soon so stay tuned.
6.) I have 4 tattoos and want to get another one this year! We shall see.
7.) I love reading!! As a little girl my love for reading started with books like The Baby Sitters Club and Sweet Valley High.
8.) I got my first job at age 14. I was a Bagger at Meijer!
9.) I have been living in Houston, TX for the past six years. We are originally from Detroit, MI. Relocating has been one of the best decisions I ever made!
10.) I LOVE TO TRAVEL! If you follow me on social media you already know this.
11.) I broke my leg when I was 3-years-old. My older cousin dropped a weight on it by mistake as a group of us were playing in my Aunties basement. I still remember it like it was yesterday!
12.) I can eat sliced tomatoes sprinkled with some salt with every meal! If your grocery store is out of tomatoes, I did it!
13.) I LOVE PLANNING! I plan EVERYTHING but my favorites are Event Planning & Travel Planning!
14.) I’m an Introvert with Extrovert qualities. I think I have a nice balance, I think!
15.) I have never been to IKEA! Good news, it’s been added to my list of places to visit this year. lol
16.) I’m terrified of BUGS! Like, so terrified that when we were younger I used to call KB to come over and kill bugs for me if no one else was home. I run and I’m not ashamed to admit it!
17.) I married KB, my High School Sweetheart just before my 23rd Birthday! May 21st will make Thirteen years of marriage for us!
18.) My greatest accomplishments are my daughter Niah who will be eleven this year and my son KJ who will be nine.
BONUS: If you don’t know anything else about me, know that family is extremely important to me! I mean it wholeheartedly when I say that my greatest passions are being a mom and wife. So many of these I reacted to with ‘same’ or ‘wow really?!’ I think my fav is that youve never been to ikea! That’s actually kind of impressive!
