The cow! That cow and all the vibrant colors that this unique ice cream shop exudes just draws you in. My husband is so in love with Amy’s! This is one of my families favorite ice cream shops. The ice cream is so thick and rich. We love the concept! You can customize your ice cream to your liking. Cup or cone? You decide. Pick your base ice cream flavor and mix in any toppings that you like. Looking for an ice cream cake? They have those too. Shakes, cakes, smoothies, sundaes, ice cream…Oh My! If your’re lucky, you can beat the line, grab a seat indoors or outdoors and enjoy all the deliciousness.
Bonus: You can cater to your sweet tooth any time of the day with their late night hours! Adults beware, they also sell alcohol infused ice cream!

Hank’s just give you that good, wholesome, family feeling! That mom and pop shop feel with all the sweet goodness to match. They have clearly been taking the Houston ice cream scene by storm for decades now. Don’t expect the latest Instagram worthy trends. However, their ice cream makes up for it! I love their banana pudding ice cream! They keep classic staples and unique flavors in rotation. The ice cream is thick and rich and they also offer shakes too. The seating and parking is minimal but the flavors is plentiful!

The price is great and the location is trendy. You can easily share the cookie sandwich because it’s just that big! It’s a complete Instagram worthy experience so don’t forget to snap a picture. Their quick service is such a happy moment!
